FESTINAVIR® is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) that blocks HIV-1 reverse transcriptase, the essential enzyme for viral replication.
FESTINAVIR® was synthesized by a group of researchers (scientists and physicians) in collaboration with the Yale University. Oncolys BioPharma in-licensed this novel NRTI from Yale University with global rights for development, manufacturing and commercialization.
FESTINAVIR® has shown to be effective against multiple-drug resistant and NNRTI resistant virus. Studies to date, also have indicated that FESTINAVIR® has a promising safety profile. A number of studies are on-going to confirm our expectations towards safety and resistance profile.
FESTINAVIR® is a highly promising compound for the treatment of HIV/AIDS and Oncolys BioPharma is actively seeking a partner to maximize and realize the value of this product.
